NBTC International OTT Symposium Aims to Propel Thailand into the Digital Era
On October 10th 2023, Mr. Winradit Kolasastraseni, President of Digital Media at True Digital Group participated in a panel discussion on the topic of “The Convergence Catalyst: Operator-Broadcaster Synergy and the Future of OTT Direction” at the NBTC International OTT Symposium in Digital Ecosystem held by The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) at the Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit Hotel.
The symposium offered opportunities for participants from the public and private sectors, and related international organisations, to discuss and exchange visions, solutions, and challenges regarding OTT services and promoting the digital ecosystem during the transition to the digital era.

In essence, OTT refers to a service that delivers content via the internet, with the unique characteristic that the service provider does not own the internet network used for distribution. To elaborate further, OTT service providers create content and deliver it through existing internet networks, such as popular platforms like YouTube and various streaming services.
