MOU Signing Ceremony between NAEC and TDG VN
On July 22, 2021 in Hanoi, the National Agricultural Extension Center (NAEC), True Digital Vietnam Joint Stock Company signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in transferring agricultural technology 4.0 in the livestock sector to farmers.
Participating in the signing ceremony, on the side of the National Experience Center was Mr. Le Quoc Thanh - Director of the Center, on the side of True Digital Vietnam Joint Stock Company, Mr. Nguyen Manh Long - Digital Solutions Director of the company.
According to a memorandum of understanding, the National Agricultural Extension Center and True Digital Vietnam Joint Stock Company agreed to cooperate and share resources to carry out activities to raise farmers' awareness of digital transformation in the agricultural sector. Implement the 4.0 technology application initiative in dairy cows, broilers and shrimp industry.
Accordingly, the National Center for Agricultural Extension will provide technical support and contribute ideas to the parties to build model farm models applying 4.0 technology in animal husbandry and cultivation. Organize communication to raise awareness of farmers and producers to create quality 4.0 agricultural products through communication channels such as: mass communication (television channels, newspapers); Social Network; communication channels of the agricultural extension system; conferences in the agricultural industry. Support communication with agriculture industry stakeholders and sharing of operational information. Supporting the implementation of communication and policy advocacy activities. The two sides will jointly strengthen cooperation, raise farmers' awareness, transfer technology and knowledge in the application of 4.0 technology to agriculture; building business community in the field of high-tech agriculture and expanding through the agricultural extension system.
To clarify more about True Digital technology background, Mr. Nguyen Manh Long, Digital Solutions Director of True Digital said that the company's main platform is in the agricultural sector.
“True Digital is gradually bringing its technology products into the agricultural production process in Vietnam. Along with that, the testing and verification stages are carried out regularly,” said Long, adding that the first two areas that True Digital wants to develop in Vietnam are dairy and broiler farming, respectively. Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Le Quoc Thanh shared that the public-private partnership (PPP) program is the optimal method to exploit the socialization resources and technological potential of the private side as well as improve the efficiency of performance of NAEC across the country.
"With the cooperation agreement signed today, we believe that the technology solutions that True Digital offers are in line with the development strategy of putting high technology into production, especially at farms and households. The cooperation program will build test models and bring the company's technological solutions to each farmer's specific farm," said Mr. Le Quoc Thanh.
