Product Owner (Loyalty Platform)
The Loyalty Platform Product Owner is responsible of the management and execution of the TrueYou Loyalty Platform roadmap. The person will act as a conduit between the TrueYou business team and all of our partners and vendors, serving as the driving force for the entire ecosystem.
The strategic goal for this role is to ensure that the TrueYou offering is compelling; driving up customer satisfaction and retention rates. The platform should also be able to help drive company-wide goals including MAUs, reduction of churn, upselling of products and points exchange.
-Work with the other product owners to establish a clear roadmap and strategy for the Loyalty platform.
-Work closely with the TrueYou business team to capture their goals and turn it into platform features for execution.
-Maintain high standard of quality in writing user stories even when they are highly technical and/or complicated. Maintain well groomed backlog.
-Effectively communicate complicated technical details to non-technical audiences. Distill platform requirements into technical user stories.
-Work closely with various partners to ensure smooth integration points with the Loyalty Platform including for redemption of privileges, earning and burning of points, as well as other b2b initiatives.
-Manage relationship and operations with various vendors that implement and maintain the systems in the Loyalty ecosystem.
-Collaborate with other Product leads and Data & Analytics teams to maximize the use and understanding of all user related data.
-Align with other teams on larger initiatives including the TrueID privilege team and TrueYou and TrueID marketing teams as well as TrueIT and other True Corp entities.
-Derive insights from current offers and campaigns to help identify opportunities to improve the capabilities of the system.
-Follow best practices in designing new APIs, collaborating with other platform product owners, enterprise architects and system analysts.
-5+ years in a product or tech role working with complex back-end systems.
-Degree in computer science or a related technical skill preferred. Relevant experience considered.
-Product management and technical experience with a broad variety of platforms and technologies, including familiarity with API design.
-Hands on experience or very good understanding of various programming languages and databases.
-Experience managing a large number of partners and stakeholders under high pressure situations. Vendor management skills and experience are a plus.
